Derian Lake day

On Saturday we got up at 6 am and drove to New York.  We left Kaellyn with Donna and Mike to hang out while Briss, Bill, and Eric went to Derian Lake amusement park.  Briss and I were required to go for a "mandatory family fun day".  The main headquarters of the Recruiting Station have the family fun day each year at this place.  I couldn't go last year because I was in California.  We arrived at 10 am and waited around for an hour before the Commanding Officer said a few remarks.  Then he let us go to eat and ride the rides.  

Briss and Bill first went on this huge bungee jumping thing and they had a great time.  Then we went on a few other roller coasters.  Bill was unable to go on several of the roller coasters so he became a bit dishearted.  Eric didn't care for them and so we left a bit early.  I was able to convince them to go on the water ride which is my favourite in the whole world.  We all got soaked but it was such a hot day we all dried quickly.

It was a great fun day at Derian Lake and it had been a while since Briss and I had done something without Kaellyn so that made it fun.
